I have searched SEC, Google, etc and I cannot find this:
Wells Fargo Bank NA Solely As Trustee For RMAC REMIC Trust Series 2009-10.  They claim they are the new holder of my note.    Supposedly Citigroup Global Markets Realty Corp assigned it to them on, before or around 1/14/10.
Any help researching would be greatly appreciated.

I think there is more info to describe the Pool of your Trust than you have listed.  However, you might be able to use the info contained in the link below to help decypher what you need to know.  Look for additional descriptive numbers identifying your loan pool, such as a Series number, or additional numbers and letters, etc.

It is essential that you use discovery to obtain the information you need to understand and defend the complaint.  In most states, a defendant is entitled to written discovery under the Rules, to include interrogatories, requests for admission, requests for production.  In some places, a party is also entitled to a request for disclosure, including questions as to the identity of parties.

"RMAC" is almost certainly an abbreviation.  The "MAC" probably stands for "Mortgage Acceptance Corporation".  There is a "Renaissance Mortgage Accpetance Corporation"  "RBS" (Royal Bank of Scotland) is another possibility for the "R".  "Republic" and "Regions" are also names of large financial entities which might be candidates, but neither seems to match anything at the SEC site.

But you should not have to GUESS!

You need to familiarize yourself with the Rules of Civil Procedure for your jurisdiction and/or engage the services of a competent, experienced attorney well acquainted with mortgage foreclosure defense!

I found this tonight but it doesn't seem to get me anywhere .....
"Incorporated by Wells Fargo Delaware Trust Company, Roosevelt Mortgage Acquisition Company is located at 1540 Broadway Ste 1606 New York, NY 10036. Roosevelt Mortgage Acquisition Company was incorporated on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 in the State of FL and is currently active. Corporation Service Company represents Roosevelt Mortgage Acquisition Company as their registered agent."

I have an attorney and so far he's kept me out of foreclosure for 5 months -- a third hearing is scheduled for September.  The first two ended with the judge giving them more time to answer the questions --- he seems as curious as we are if they can produce proof they hold the note.  I am in a non-judicial state (Not CA or FL) so I had to file a suit/TRO.  I can't really go into a lot of details due to a confidentiality agreement but I will say this -- my situation is a big mess like many I've read here.  Even with an attorney I'm not turning my back on this just in case --- I'm still doing my own "discovery" efforts in my free time.  Thanks for your help and I'll let you know if I find out more or any updates to the turn out.

Mr. Roper is right. This is what should happen. The judge on my case dismissed a motion to compell the mortgage company to dismiss the motion to provide info on the chain of custody of the note in 2008 with the comment that it was irrelevant. Coming up to trial the current judge disallowed any new discovery.  I have been more successful in finding information. For instance if one searches thru the SEC sites in later postings links to websites are provided and that yields some very suprising info.

RMAC is a London company.  I was able to find a prospectus for the 2005 series which states that the originator is GMAC Residential Funding Corp.'s operation in the U.K.  Not sure if any of this helps but I found tranches from my trust sold to entities in Ireland, U.K., Australia, and of couse here.  One even is part of the 401(k) plan for JP Morgan employees.

You may try doing an SEC search for GMAC Residential Funding.

Here is a link to the 2005 prospectus.

How To Locate The SEC Documents of Your Mortgage Trust

Search Method I
If the plaintiff on your foreclosure complaint is a trust, you can search the SEC filing of the trust
to get more information. The name of the trust will be on the complaint as the plaintiff. The
trustee is most likely one of the mega banks such as Wells Fargo, US. BANK N.A, and Deutsche
1) Get the name of your mortgage trust from complaint. Example: Wells Fargo Bank, National
Association As Trustee For The Holders Of BCAP 2006-AA1 7105.
In this example, the name of the trust will be BCAP 2006-AA1
2) Go to
Search for the first part of the trust name; do not enter the year.
3) Select the registrant that is your plaintiff.

4) You should see the 8K, 10K filings and the prospectus. Make local copy and read them
meticulously. There is a lot of important information in these documents.

Search Method II
It is possible that you may not be able to locate the SEC documents of your mortgage using the
trust name. In that case, get a copy of your promissory note; one should be attached to the
complaint sent to you. In the following example, we will search the SEC web site for GPMFT
2007-OH1 trust.
1) Find the name of your original lender.
2) From the promissory note, we determined that the original lender is GreenPoint Mortgage
Funding Inc.
3) Go to the SEC web site ( ) and search for GreenPoint Mortgage

Yes I found that one but mine is listed as 2009-10

I'm really new to this so I'm not sure if 2009 - (whatever the number) and mine 2009-10 would be lumped into the same pool?

I really appreciate all the posting research to help me!
